Integrated Convoy Protection (Pty) Ltd is a South African based company which designs and produces one of the most impressive Armored Personnel Carriers used in combat today, the REVA. The acronym for which REVA is named (Reliable, Effective, Versatile and Affordable) indicates the clear mission of the vehicle and its designers – to produce a ballistic and blast protected carrier that ensures the safety of armed forces and other personnel being transported. Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) land mines, car bombs and hostile sniper fire are common place in the theatre of war of the 21st century and their proliferation increases the need for protection of both personnel and assets.

Combat proven, the REVA, takes these threats in its stride offering superb protection with its solid double skin armoring and unique V-shaped hull design. The REVA complies with NATO B7 + and STANAG 2 ballistic specifications and has a TNT-mine resistance capability of 14kg of explosives under the wheel and 7kg of explosives under the hull as a centre blast.

The REVA is highly versatile and has been customized to a variety of client specifications. Currently over 200 vehicles are in operation in Iraq, being used by US Special Forces and the Multi-National Security Transitional Command-Iraq (MNSTC-I).
